Magic Garden Program Ozora Festival 2015

Location: Hungary

Deadline: 1 April 2015

It all began with the Pyramid. In 2010 a few youngsters started jamming, doing arts and crafts and yoga around the reed-thatched building on the hilltop. Then others joined them.

Since then this area has grown into an entity of its own, packed full of diverse locations that blend perfectly into the overall festival. This space was collectively called the Magic Garden for a long time (and many still call it by this name among themselves), but it didn’t take us long to realize that this expression is in reality true for the entire territory of the festival.

After all, the Ozorian Village truly is an alternative universe where we can spend ‘nearly never enough’ time living, loving and doing various activities in the midst of paradise-like landscapes and trance-inducing soundscapes.

And besides the Main Stage, Chill Dome, Pumpui and the Dragon Nest, we are also welcomed by the creative and creating community of the ARTibarn, the lively playground of the Circus, the intellectual realms of the Chambok House, the enticing smells and flavours coming from the Cooking Grove’s beehive oven and stoves, the spiritual alcoves of the Dragon Agora, thePyramid’s bodymind space and the alternative realities of the art performances.

This year the gates to this world are opening even wider through the 2015 Open Call for Participation with the magic that your inborn wizard or wizardess holds. Anyone who performs, juggles, crafts, holds lectures, heals, teaches can add more magic to our wondrous world.

All you have to do is take a few minutes to carefully fill out the application form of your choice. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate, write to . Submission deadline for the Open Call: April 1, 2015.

Body & Mind Technique Application (Workshops)

Application Form is here, you have to register first.

The enchanted space of the Pyramid welcomes dancers, martial artists and masters of ‘body and mind techniques’ who would gladly share their knowledge and skills with the Ozorian community. The focus here is on movement, consciousness, health and the development of body awareness. If you’d like to be a part of the Pyramid crew, please submit your proposals no later than April 1, 2015

Performance Application

Application Form is here, you have to register first.

We are awaiting proposals of theatrical productions, dance performances and shows for children to fill several locations, mainly the Chambok House, ARTibarn, Playground and Pyramid. In case of performance art, other unique settings can be provided if needed. We are especially looking for performances with minimal technical requirements, mostly ones that can also be put on during the day. In case of theatrical productions we are mainly looking for movement theater performances. The recommended language for all shows is English but we favor non-verbal or multilingual performances for the children’s programs. We are looking forward to creative, diverse proposals. Any and all styles of performance are welcome.

Circus and Fire-Artist Application

Application Form is here, you have to register first.

In 2014 the festival saw not one, not two, but more than a hundred circus artists from 14 countries of the world performing at Ozora, appearing in a total of seven shows a day, which were especially created for the gathering with flow-art never seen anywhere else before. We are looking for circus performers and shows for the 2015 O.Z.O.R.A Festival from 3rd to 7th  August.

Send us an application if:

  • ■ you have a choreographed act that would fit into a circus cabaret show,
  • ■ you have a fire show or acts that could be performed at and around the Main Stage,
  • ■ you have a full circus show or a troupe that could perform for children,
  • ■ you have a walking act or a street circus show.
